A Successful Complete Home Renovation in Hobson

Our North Shore team recently completed an interior renovation of a home on Hobson St in Auckland City. This home, unlike a lot of the houses we do, wasn’t falling apart, but the owners felt it was time to bring some new life to the house and change the way it looked inside. It was definitely a dated look.

As you can see, it was very plain inside and more than likely the original interior from when the house was first built. The whites in the bathroom were starting to get discolored, the carpet was getting dirty and a general makeover was due. Luckily for the owners, we were on the case!

We made use of various textures to add color and life to the home, from the dark wood floors to the marble look walls in the kitchen and bathroom. We introduced a few select colors to make a nice modern palette which has a bit more life than just painting everything white. New furniture was introduced throughout, finishing off the new theme.

Would you like to renovate your home interior? If the time has come for you to begin rebuilding your home, here are some things to consider.

Budget should be one of the very first things to take into account. Without a budget that will cover the cost of a renovation, you will not get very far. And you certainly don’t want to be left with a half done project, holes in your walls or uninstalled bathroomware!

Time frame is something else that you should consider. Make sure you can live around the project happening in your home and account for the project to take longer than you thought – it usually does.

Laws and regulations need to be checked and followed before anything is done. Make sure you are doing things legally and that your plans follow any local laws. You will save yourself many headaches later.
