Renovations in Auckland
Auckland is the country’s central for renovations, building and construction at the moment. If you just want to do up your Auckland home to make it more modern, update its looks and improve its function, a renovation is for you. At first, renovating may seem like a simple task, but can quickly get complicated if you are not experienced in the work and especially if you are doing rooms such as a kitchen or bathroom which require addition work such as plumbing to be completed. Who do you hire to do that? How much is it going to add to the cost? Do I need certification or permits? Things can quickly get out of hand.

We at Maintain To Profit Renovations will take care of the entire process. We have networks of tradesmen in Auckland who we work with to ensure that your renovation is done smoothly, on time and budget and to the highest possible standard. No stress or worry for you.

Building New Auckland Homes
Along with the renovations, we also specialise in building complete new homes. Building is massive in Auckland currently, everywhere you look something is being built. If you would rather start over or have an empty plot of land, this is the perfect solution for you to make your dream home a reality. From the design process right up to the final coat of paint, we are well connected in the industry to get the very best on the job to provide you with a top of the line home that meets your requirements.

Stunning kitchen remodel in Papatoetoe

Papatoetoe Kitchen Remodel Sometimes when we look at a space we can see the potential to optimize the flow and increase the value of a home. The kitchen at this home in Papatoetoe was originally in a separate room. The owner wanted an open plan living area with the kitchen included. Instead of removing the wall we completely moved the kitchen over. We closed off an outdoor window and blocked th doorway to the original kitchen. We were able to optimize a smaller living area and also create an additional bedroom. The new kitchen had vaulted ceilings which made the space feel bigger. We used white cabinetry, engineered stone bench tops and tiles also made the space more open. The kitchen was installed with German made hardware and soft closing hinge we polished the beautiful New Zealand native Rimu flooring throughout the kitchen-living area and also in the newly created room. The villa style home is perfectly suited to the polished wood floors and the finish brought a  sense of togetherness to the overall feel of this beautiful period home.       At Maintain to profit South East Auckland we pride ourselves on delivering quality renovations This is what our customer had to say You know it’s a great reno when you felt it’s money well spent. Kitchen Renovation Howick

Opening the area The owners at this property wanted to open up their kitchen and dining room to create more light and better flow between the rooms. We were able to remove the non structural nib wall to open the area without a council consent. It's always good to check with a professional to see if removing a wall will require consent. Removing a structural wall could destroy your home. The cupboard space was retained by keeping the lower cabinets for storage. A breakfast bar was installed, ideal for entertaining. We uplifted the existing flooring and replaced it with a high quality laminate throughout the kitchen, dining and living. We removed the wallpaper and gave the rooms a fresh coat of paint. The customer opted for a modern looking kitchen with textured tile splash back off set by stylish Edison bulb lighting The appliances selected were black and matching black tapware. We had the opportunity to renovate the full interior of this home. The owners wanted to create an open plan kitchen and living space. When we made our inspection, we could see how beneficial this would be to the space. Our inspection revealed that the wall in question was load bearing and therefore required council consent. Our architects drew up the drawings and applied for the consent and then our builders installed 4.5m Flitch beam to bare the   of the rafters so that the space could be opened. We fully removed the wallpaper from the interior of the house and plastered and painted the walls throughout. There were some areas  We removed the flooring throughout the home and supplied new carpets and vinyl. The owners opted to remove the fireplace and replace with a heat pump. The was an issue with dampness in the basement so we applied waterproofing to the floors and back walls to stop the damp coming in. By applying waterproofing to the basement it stops the issue of moisture ingress. It is fairly common to see homes with this issue when the basement has been dug into the ground. The waterproofing solution is the best way to protect the contents from damp. In some cases extra external drainage can also help. Throughout the home we installed PVC double glazing windows and doors for added insulation and a clean and modern look. We installed in wall insulation and ceiling insulation by pumping it in. For the ceiling we had to lift the roofing and pump it in underneath because of the type of ceilings in the house. We completely renovated the bathroom…

We completely renovated the bathroom installing new bath with a shower over it with a bath screen and replaced both the upstairs and downstairs toilets. We installed a single wall mount vanity and mirror.

We completely replaced the kitchen with standard white melamine cabinets, installed with German made hardware. The kitchen was fitted with soft close hinges and drawers and recessed handles. We supplied black granite benchtop and white subway tiles and the overall look is clean and fresh and suited to the black and white colour scheme the client wanted.
