West Auckland Kitchen Renovation

West Auckland Kitchen Renovation
Here is a job we did recently which shows the process of a kitchen renovation, this one having been done in a house in West Auckland. Most times when a person wants to renovate a part of their home (or the whole home), it’s usually due to the fact that it’s outdated, starting to get run down, and the features and appliances are starting to age. Typically, it will look something like this: As was the case here, the home owner wanted to renovate the property to bring it to market. This means they needed something new, modern, and which stood out. When we get a project like this, the first step is to create the concept based on the space we are working on. For this kitchen, this was the concept we came up with: As you can see, the renovation concept featured an entirely new kitchen, new paint, floors and fixtures. Out with the old, in with the new. All parts of the design are then agreed upon by the home owners to ensure that the concept is what they are after. The new design gives the kitchen a crisp new look, and makes it suitable for modern day appliances. This is the real life result of the kitchen renovation: Some aspects were changed when it came to the final design but as you can see the concept gives a good indication as to the finished result. This is typical of the process of a home renovation and will be what you can expect when you renovate your home. Contact us today to begin your...

Full Home Renovation In Ryburn, South East Auckland
Another renovation by our South East Auckland renovations team, this time in Ryburn with a full home renovation including kitchen rebuild, bathroom restoration and living room area. These are the photos before the renovation, and as you can see, the time had come for an update. The styling of the home was very outdated, and was beginning to get run down. The appliances were also up for a change so this was the perfect time to get everything sorted.   Our renovations team went in there with the new design and a determination to create the perfect home for the owners. Everything from top to bottom was redone, including ceiling, floor and walls. New paint, new flooring, new appliances, and new furnishings all went in. This was the final result: After the renovation was completed, we received this letter from the owner: “I’d like to once again thank you and your team for the exceptional finish on the renovations. I have had a lot of great comments from friends and family. Your attention to detail is amazing. Your quick dealings with any changes and concerns was fantastic. Great work Thanks. Looking for a New Deck Before Summer?

Looking for a New Deck Before Summer?
Building a deck is a perfect way to extend your living space into the outdoors. And who doesn’t love the great outdoors, especially in the summer? In theory, it’s as simple as building an adjacent platform or a freestanding structure in your yard. But, in practice, building a deck requires a lot of planning and careful consideration. Firstly, you need to decide on the size, location and design of your deck. Secondly, you need to consider the type of material to use as well as the level of maintenance and costs involved. Then, of course, there are building codes and regulations to take into account. Check out the following guide to help you in planning for your new deck. Decking Material From hardwoods to treated pine, there’s a decking material to suit every budget and application. Choose a material that can withstand the climate conditions in your area. Keep in mind that some materials are quicker and cheaper to maintain, while others will need regular upkeep and treatment. Below are some of the common options for New Zealand decks: Hardwoods. Tropical hardwoods are commonly used for decking due to their extreme durability, resilience and natural appeal. They look, feel and even smell great. While they have a tendency to split or splinter in our low humidity climate, oiling and coating will easily solve this issue. With regular maintenance, hardwood decks can retain its stylish look for many years. Kwila is the most popular hardwood decking, although it has water-soluble tannins which can bleed and stain surrounding tiles or concrete. Another popular option is Vitex, a creamy-grey timber that bleeds...
